I’m a theorist and consulting practitioner on digital and brand strategy

Hi I’m Brent. I’m author of the book “Going Viral”.

I research and teach Digital and Viral Marketing at the University of Melbourne.

I founded in the late 90s, and invented the world’s first web app to detect dissatisfaction in 2010, the world’s first algorithm to explain and predict viral memes in 2011.

My research on consumer psychology has been published in the world’s leading scientific journals, and widely reported in the media, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Scientific American, to name a few.

Over the past 15 years I’ve advised marketing and brand strategy to startups and Bluechip companies around the world, including Qantas, IBM, Unilever, Oticon, to name a few.

I’d like to connect with you
